Adam Hollier

Vice President, Hantz Woodlands

Adam Hollier is the vice president of Hantz Woodlands, a large-scale urban agriculture project designed to use sustainability to eliminate blight on the city’s east side and promote economic development. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Vanguard Community Development Corporation and the New Center Community Services.

Prior to this role, Hollier was the legislative liaison for former Detroit Mayor Dave Bing, where he shepherded the creation of the Public Lighting Authority, a $180 million investment in neighborhoods.  He also served as the district director for Michigan Senator Buzz Thomas and as the chief of staff for Michigan Senator Bert Johnson.

Hollier has a bachelor’s degree in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University, as well as a master’s degree in urban planning from the University of Michigan.
