Brad Williams

Vice President, Government Relations, Detroit Regional Chamber

Brad Williams is vice president of Government Relations at the Detroit Regional Chamber and leads advocacy efforts on behalf of its members and the business community. In this role, Williams is responsible for shaping the Chamber’s public policy agenda and supporting legislation that serves the interests of the business community as well as overseeing the Chamber’s political action committees.

The Chamber’s aggressive advocacy program includes establishing direct contact with key policymakers at the local, state and federal government and is consistently ranked as one of the top advocacy organizations in the state. Williams manages a three-person advocacy team out of the Chamber’s Lansing office to provide Chamber members a strong voice at the Capitol throughout the entire legislative process — from committee hearings to bill signing. Prior to being named vice president, he served for three years as director of Government Relations for the Chamber with a focus on tax and appropriations issues.
