Brown & Brown of Detroit Welcomes New Employee Benefits Leader

(Sterling Heights) . . . Todd Piersol, Executive Vice President of Brown & Brown of Detroit and Brian Pilarski, Sales Leader, are pleased to announce that the office recently welcomed Jeff Romback to the leadership team. Jeff has taken on the role of Employee Benefits Leader.

In his new role, Mr. Romback will lead the employee benefits division, which includes about 25 teammates. This division of Brown & Brown of Detroit manages employee benefits and welfare programs for many companies in the middle market and large group segment. Jeff stated, “I’m excited to join the dynamic team that is Brown & Brown of Detroit. The company’s reputation nationally, as well as in the state of Michigan, and the local leadership team made this an excellent fit for me.”

Jeff possesses a law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. In addition, he earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees from Saginaw Valley University, in Public Administration and Criminal Justice. He has over eight years of experience in the fields of law and benefits. He most recently worked at NGS CoreSource where he led the Compliance, Plan Design, and Plan Build Departments as AVP, Compliance and Communications. Jeff has also worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Makower Abbate and Associates, and for Oakland County.
