Charitable Cell Phone Recycling Detroit
The Detroit Regional Chamber and Office Deopt have begun a cell phone recycling program organized to assist members in collecting and re-deploying used and unwanted cell phones. The United Way and the Chamber will benefit through this program, and charitable recycling requires no out-of-pocket expenses and no contractual obligations.. The collected and recycled cell phones are then distributed to the following groups: 911 (emergency only) services, battered women, senior citizens needing a direct line of communication, and less developed countries.
To Participate:
Collect used cell phones
Ship phones to the Chamber or deposit at any Detroit Regional Chamber event.
As a Detroit Regional Chamber member, it is easy to drop off your used cell phones at our events and tax receipts will be issued onsite.
Charitable Recycling requires NO out-of-pocket expenses and no contractual obligations.
