The Detroit Regional Economic Partnership serves as the Chamber's business development arm. In this capacity, the Partnership works to develop the region's economic sustainability by attracting people, dollars and jobs to the region. This could mean helping a company open a manufacturing facility or simply establish a sales office within the region. In attracting investment, the Partnership helps:
- Ensure there is plenty of employment now and for future generations.
- Spread the business tax burden.
- Enhance schools and cultural institutions.
- Increase the size of the sales "pie" for Chamber member companies.
