Hafiz Malik

Associate Professor, Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Michigan

Hafiz Malik is an associate professor in the electrical and computer engineering department at University of Michigan-Dearborn. Some of his areas of research include multimedia forensics, Deepfakes, automotive cybersecurity, information hiding, pattern recognition, and information fusion.

Malik has had more than 80 papers published in leading journals, conferences, and workshops. He is a founding member of the Cybersecurity Center for Research, Education, and Outreach at UM-Dearborn. He is also a member of the Scientific and Industrial Advisory Board of the National Center for Cyber Security in Pakistan.
