Ford represented Tennessee in the U.S. Congress for 10 years, serving on both the Financial Services and Budget committees, where he actively worked to balance the budget and promote free enterprise. Since leaving office in 2007, Ford continues to promote nonpartisan debate on key issues to promote entrepreneurialism and grow the middle class. Currently, he is working to help shape the national debate for the 2016 presidential race. Highly regarded for having his finger on the pulse of national politics, Ford’s 2010 book “More Davids Than Goliaths” became an instant bestseller. He is a part-time lecturer at the University of Michigan’s Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy.
