The Parntership's Global Business Development efforts work to attract businesses from around the globe to Detroit, while also helping the businesses currently in the region increase their presence. Partnership stafff travel globally to entice companies to either relcoate or invest in doing business in the Detroit region. The Partnership also helps businesses already located in the Detroit area "go global" and break into new markets around the world. Geographic FocusThe Partnership's predominatly focuses on attracting businesses from Europe and Asia. The Partnership will continue to prospect clients by working key trade shows in Europe and Asia, as well as areas closer to our market, such as in In 2010 the Partnership will continue expanding its geographic focus to new markets as it begins to incldue the MENA (Middle East North Africa) region in its business attraction plans.
