and Maximum Flexibility

The Blues provide several types of plans with a multitude of options for each. Chamber members have access to more options giving them the flexibility to match the best plan for their budget.

2. Best Available Price to Fit Your Budget

Greater options mean the ability to manage your plans to your budget. No matter what coverage a member chooses, they can rest assured that they are also guaranteed to get the best price available. Now members can save more with Blue Advantage Pricing which provides premium reductions when they add dental or prescription drug coverage to their plan.

3. Service Makes Benefits Administration Easy

Managing benefits is a complicated and time consuming task. The Chamber's service team is on call to help answer benefit questions and process requests such as ordering ID cards, checking eligibility, or changing an employee's status.

4. Reduced Employer Benefit Liability

When an employer chooses to offer health insurance as a benefit, they unfortunately also assume the added liability of compliance. That is why the Chamber offers a suite of services aimed at helping employers comply with government regulations and lowering their liability risk. All members receive a customized Summary Plan Description (SPD) to comply with U.S. Department of Labor regulations. The Chamber also offers a robust COBRA administration program for employers with more than 20 employees.

5. Member Discounts

Employees save even more just by showing their Blue ID card. Through a variety of Blue programs, employees can save on injury-prevention equipment and complementary health services, such as acupuncture and wellness and fitness centers.

6. Personalized Service from Licensed Insurance Professionals

The Chamber partners with licensed Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan agents to sell and service its program. Highly trained independent agents form the Chamber's field services arm and provide expert advice, quotes and facilitate on-site enrollment.
