Integr8, Automation Alley’s Industry 4.0 global conference, gains additional sponsors heading into its second year; event is Nov. 14 in Detroit

September 20, 2018
TROY, Mich. — September 21, 2018— Automation Alley is pleased to announce strong sponsorship support of its second annual Integr8 global Industry 4.0 conference, taking place in Detroit on Wednesday, November 14. The conference is focused on the eight core technologies of Industry 4.0: the Industrial Internet of Things, robotics, artificial intelligence, Big Data, cloud computing, cybersecurity, advanced materials and additive manufacturing, and modeling, simulation, visualization and immersion.

As Michigan’s Industry 4.0 knowledge center and the state’s leading technology and manufacturing business association, Automation Alley created the Integr8 Industry 4.0 conference in 2017 to draw global attention to the rapid technological changes taking place in the manufacturing industry and to help companies large and small form action plans for their digital transformation. The inaugural Integr8 event drew a sellout-crowd of 550 and attendance is expected to approach 700 this year with expanded seating capacity at the venue.

The excitement for the conference is building as Automation’s Alley reputation as a thought leader in Industry 4.0 and smart factories grows, according to Automation Alley CEO and Executive Director Tom Kelly, who moderated a World Economic Forum community dinner on Industry 4.0 in Tianjin, China on September 19.

“With the support of our active members and sponsors, Automation Alley is gaining a global reputation as the go-to U.S. source for Industry 4.0 learning and programming,” Kelly said. “The Integr8 conference gives us the opportunity to put smart manufacturing in the spotlight and showcase what is currently being done with Industry 4.0 – and what remains to be tackled. It’s a monumental challenge, but we are confident that Michigan can lead the way in the fourth industrial revolution.”

Eager to be a part of the energy and engagement of Industry 4.0 through Integr8, the following companies have signed on as key sponsors:
