Jarret Schlaff
CEO and Co-founder, Boots on the Ground
Jarret Schlaff is president, co-founder and CEO of Boots on the Ground LLC. The company’s mission is to produce hand-made, ecologically consciousness, urban utility boots and other products built by veterans overcoming homelessness. He previously served as Midwest director for 350.org, training and coaching hundreds of student, faith and community leaders, which resulted in 34 new environmentally-focused projects across Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Since 2008, Schlaff has launched four nonprofit projects focused on youth mentorship, environmental justice and food access across metro Detroit. He has 10 years of experience in management and personal, professional and organizational development.
