Loretta Bush

CEO, Michigan Primary Care Association

Loretta Bush is CEO of the Michigan Primary Care Association (MPCA). She joined MPCA with more than 25 years of leadership and management experience in health and human services, government and nonprofit organizations.

Most recently, she served as the founding president and CEO for the Detroit-based Institute for Population Health, where she provided oversight to clinical, behavioral health and dental services. Prior to that, Bush served as a group executive for the Detroit Department of Health and Wellness Promotion and the Department of Human Services, and as the director of public health for the Wayne County Department of Public Health.

Bush developed a curriculum for HIV/AIDS prevention and care and trained Ethiopian officials on methods to help stem the HIV/AIDS public health crisis in Africa.
