Marcus Jones
President, Detroit Training Center
Marcus Jones is president of the Detroit Training Center. He is responsible for all aspects of program management — issuing certificates, ensuring all state and federal mandated hours are met, and all programs are up to code.
He previously worked in real estate and green building, with more than 10 years of experience in both residential and commercial real estate, serving as a real estate and green building consultant. He also holds a LEED Green Associates certification.
Jones earned a master’s degree in environmental policy and urban planning from the University of Michigan. He serves on the board for the Green Schools Committee for the Detroit Regional Chapter at the U.S. Green Building Council.
