Economic Development National Authority
Michigan Economic Growth Authority (MEGA): The MEGA act expires at the end of 2003 and requires legislative action to re-authorize the program. The Chamber supported MEGA when first enacted and continues to support the tax credit tool as an important economic development incentive. Legislation has been introduced in both the House and Senate and will receive final passage before the end of the year.
