Nick Mattar

Director of Marketing, Detroit Regional Chamber

Nick Mattar is the director of marketing at the Detroit Regional Chamber and will be moderating a keynote address at the Digital Marketing Boot CampAs the Director of Marketing at the Detroit Regional Chamber, Nick Mattar works with an emphasis on digital marketing. This includes the Chamber’s 500-page website, all social media accounts, video production and email marketing. With the world of digital marketing becoming larger each day, Mattar has spent the past five years focusing on a wide range of digital topics, from effective email marketing techniques and making the business case for Snapchat.

Before joining the Chamber, Mattar was the marketing and corporate sales assistant for Florida Gulf Coast University’s (FGCU) athletic department in Fort Myers, Fla. At FGCU, Mattar helped market all 15 varsity sports, setting single-season and single-event attendance records for multiple athletic programs. He also started a robust social media presence for the school’s mascot, Azul.

Mattar is a graduate of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor with degrees in communications and English. He is currently completing his Masters of Business Administration degree at Wayne State University in Detroit.
