Detroit Regional Initiatives

The Detroit Regional Chamber is involved in several initiatives to benefit the business community of southeast Michigan. By identifying key issues and critical collaborators, the Chamber is able to connect metro Detroit to the resources necessary to improve the region in a number of ways.

Advocacy

The Detroit Regional Chamber heads up several initiatives to increase awareness about issues and legislation that could impact the business community in metro Detroit. The Automotive Jobs Action Coalition (AJAC) brings chambers together to advocate for auto industry related issues, and TranslinkeD advocates for transportation and border issues.

Talent

The Detroit Regional Chamber takes the lead on workforce issues by educating young professionals on the opportunities available in metro Detroit through Fusion, helping students find internships with employers through Intern in Michigan and by taking part in the WIRED initiative to better connect talent and employers to help business thrive.
