Survey Will Help Determine Demand for Non-Stop Service


Windsor, July 26, 2011 - The Windsor International Airport (YQG) seeks information from companies that have offices, plants, facilities or customer/supplier relationships in both Detroit and Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph areas.  The Airport has launched an air service survey, collecting data on travel patterns between the two communities that will be shared with prospective airlines in support of the recruitment of air service on the route.  An airline has shown interest in serving the Windsor-Essex – Kitchener Waterloo route, and the data collected by the Airport will help ensure that airline has the best possible picture of the potential market strength.

The survey is open to anyone with an interest in the potential service and can be reached through the Airport’s homepage, at www.yqg.ca.
