Robert Kurnick Jr.

Robet_KurnickRobert (Rob) H. Kurnick Jr. is the president of Penske Corporation and Penske Automotive Group, Inc. In addition to his appointment as president of Penske Corporation in 2003, Kurnick assumed the president’s position for Penske Automotive Group in April of 2008. Prior to that, he served as the vice chairman of Penske Automotive Group.

Kurnick has held various positions within the Penske organization since he joined the company in 1995. In addition to his corporate responsibilities, he serves on the board of directors for Penske Corporation and Penske Automotive Group. He also serves on the Executive Committee of the board of directors of each of these companies.

In addition, Kurnick serves on the board of trustees for Academy of the Sacred Heart in Bloomfield Hills, Mich. and he chairs the board’s Finance Committee. He also serves on the board of trustees for Beaumont Hospitals. Prior to joining the Penske organization, Kurnick was a partner in the law firm of Honigman, Miller, Schwartz & Cohn – one of the premier law firms in the Detroit area.
