Innovative Learning Group Engaged by United Way for Southeastern Michigan to Enhance Volunteer Performance

ROYAL OAK, Mich., Sept. 4, 2013 — Innovative Learning Group, Inc. announced today that it was engaged by United Way for Southeastern Michigan to create a learning path for its Community Care Advocate program.

“The purpose of this project is to identify the training and performance support needed to bring new volunteers, Community Care Advocates, up to speed quickly so they can respond to clients’ needs with compassion, speed, and accuracy,” says ILG CEO Lisa Toenniges.

ILG will create an impact map to provide a “line of sight” from the organization’s goals to the individual results, critical tasks, and skills and knowledge required of a Community Care Advocate to perform at the desired level. The impact map is the foundation for ILG to develop a learning path. The learning path will consist of training and performance support “elements” that will enable the required level of proficiency.
