Ubimobility Tech Showcase

Ubimobility, a French startup accelerator program, brought an autonomous and connected car delegation to Detroit. The group consisted of eight leading startups who won the competition to be part of the Ubimobility immersion program in the United States. In past competitions, 14 of the 24 startups that participated in the program set up shop in the U.S. after completing this immersion program.

To accommodate the delegation’s priorities, Destination Detroit hosted a Technology Showcase at NextEnergy in Detroit. The event provided an opportunity for the Detroit region to hear from the French autonomous and connected vehicle ecosystem as well as hear pitches from French startups. After the one hour session, a networking reception allowed attendees to engage with the startups to learn more and explore partnerships.
