The Chamber’s Business Attraction team recently hosted delegates from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) for the first time. The delegation was led by CAAM’s Secretary General Dong Yang and consisted of more than 20 Chinese automotive suppliers exploring investment and partnership opportunities in the Detroit region.

The Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) has bolstered an already impressive roster of international and domestic air service with the addition of numerous new airlines and service routes over the past six months. Leading the way is Alaska Airlines, which will begin daily non-stop service on September 4, between DTW and its Seattle hub.
