2020 Census Be Counted

Through the Be Counted Detroit 2020, Census 2020 Michigan Nonprofits Count Campaign, and Southeast Michigan Counts campaigns, the state and local governments, nonprofits, civic organizations and businesses are mobilizing efforts to encourage participation in the census in communities that are at significant risk of being undercounted.

The census is vital for several reasons: to illustrate and address local needs, for businesses to connect with customers, and for governments to equitably distribute funds to improve roads, schools, and communities.
