The 2022 Conference has reached capacity, general Conference registration is closed. Tickets remain available for Thursday Evening Events. The majority of Conference sessions will also be available for viewing beginning Wednesday, June 1.
The 2022 Conference Chairman Arn Tellem, vice chairman of Pistons Sports and Entertainment, will lead an advisory committee of Michigan-based chief executive officers and Chamber leadership to ensure the theme and agenda tackle critical issues while guaranteeing a safe and comfortable environment for attendees.
The 2022 Conference will focus on the business community’s changing civic role in polarizing times, highlighting the areas in which Michigan’s business community can set an example:
- Advancing diversity as a strength.
- Utilizing civility and facts in public discourse.
- Building a culture of empathy.
- Advocating for the fundamental tenets of American democracy.
The Mackinac Policy Conference – the Detroit Regional Chamber’s annual statewide event – convenes Michigan’s most influential audience to engage in collaborative dialogue on the state’s economic future. Since 1981, the Conference has provided a unique-in-the-nation experience for Michigan’s top business, government, civic, and philanthropic leaders.
2022 Vaccination Policy
The Chamber will communicate final health and safety protocols related to the 2022 Mackinac Policy Conference in April. The current protocols mirror the 2021 Conference, which only allowed those fully vaccinated against COVID-19 be permitted to attend. Final guidance, details, and deadlines will be issued based on the state’s current public health status.
