Airfoil Promotes Andy Kill, Tim Wieland to Vice President Positions

Airfoil, an integrated marketing communications firm for technology and innovation brands, has promoted Andy Kill and Tim Wieland each to vice president positions. Kill and Wieland served as account directors for the firm prior to assuming their new roles.

Kill, based in the firm’s Silicon Valley office, joined Airfoil in 2005. In his nine years at Airfoil, he has driven strategy for and helped grow key agency accounts, including eBay Motors, Survey Monkey and Plex. In his new position as vice president, he is responsible for setting and executing the firm’s business strategy in the Silicon Valley region, in addition to leadership of the teams managing the firm’s West Coast client programs.

Wieland, based in the firm’s Detroit headquarters, recently celebrated ten years with the company. During his tenure with the firm, he has driven strategy for and helped grow key agency accounts including, Microsoft SMB (Small and Midsized Business), eBay, Parrot, Faurecia and FordDirect. In his new position as vice president, he is responsible for identifying new business opportunities for the firm’s growing consumer and automotive rosters, helping clients capitalize on the convergence of these two industries, and driving organic growth through his leadership of current client programs.
