Andy Ridgway

President, IAV Automotive Engineering, Inc.

Andy_Ridgway_smAndy Ridgway is the president of IAV Automotive Engineering, Inc. He is responsible for continued business growth and success, including the expansion of IAV’s product and service portfolio.

Prior to joining IAV in 2011, Ridgway held various positions in the automotive industry, gaining experience with various technologies. Most recently, he was general manager of Valeo Engine Cooling, NAFTA Region. Ridgway spent many years at General Motors where he assumed several executive functions in vehicle manufacturing and was responsible for launching production of new vehicles both in the U.S. and Germany. He played a key part in starting production of the Astra, Zafira and Corsa models in existing and newly constructed plants. Ridgway began his career at Nissan in the United Kingdom and Japan. While at Nissan, he worked in the New Model Production Preparation and Simultaneous Engineering segments. He shared responsibility for launching production of the Nissan Micra in the U.K. – the first Nissan vehicle to be produced outside Japan.

Ridgway is a member of SAE International.

He earned a Bachelor of Engineering in production engineering from Coventry University in the U.K.
