Small Business Heroes

Introducing the Intuit QuickBooks and Mailchimp Small Business Hero Program—a year-long initiative designed to celebrate and empower small businesses that invigorate and serve their communities. This program spotlights entrepreneurs who demonstrate courage, perseverance, and integrity, by awarding three remarkable businesses each quarter. Winners receive a $20,000 grant along with additional resources to elevate their business presence and continue their success. Submit your application before August 14, 2025.

Alibaba CoCreate Pitch

The Alibaba CoCreate Pitch offers product-driven startups a chance to win a share of $1 million to help launch or scale their business. Entrepreneurs worldwide can qualify by pitching their vision through a short video on TikTok or Instagram or by submitting an online application. The top 10 finalists each receive $40,000, while the first-place winner is awarded $200,000. The program also connects participants with global manufacturers, investors, and Alibaba.com’s sourcing network to boost their market reach. Applications are due by August 15, 2025. Apply now.

Amika Rooted In Growth Grant

The Amika Rooted In Growth Grant and mentorship program, powered by Innovation Studio, offers four $50,000 grants to support underrepresented founders in the professional hair care space. The program includes four months of mentorship and networking with industry leaders to help scale consumer packaged goods in categories like hair products, tools, and extensions. Eligible businesses must be majority-owned (51% or more) by an underrepresented founder or team, operate in hair care, and sell or plan to sell through professional distribution channels. Selected founders must also commit to travel and mentorship requirements through spring 2026. Complete your application by August 22, 2025.

Skip $10,000 Summer Grants 3

The third round of the Skip $10,000 Summer Grant will award $10,000 each to eligible Skip Plus members, with over $1 million in total funding available this year. This grant supports U.S.-based entrepreneurs and small business owners aged 18 and older, regardless of business size or stage. To qualify, applicants must have an active Skip Plus membership and complete a short application that includes four required questions and two optional items. Applications are limited, so early submissions are encouraged. Submit your application by August 27, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. ET.

Hey Helen Grant

The Hey Helen Grant offers $5,000 in unrestricted funding to support women and nonbinary entrepreneurs building mission-driven, for-profit businesses in the U.S. Eligible applicants must be 100% women-owned, generate between $25,000 and $1 million in annual revenue, and have a U.S.-based business bank account. One founder will be selected, with a second $1,000 grant potentially awarded if over 1,000 qualified applications are received. Recipients may also gain media exposure through Visionaries’ platforms.
