Detroit Mayor Dave Bing will be the lunchtime keynote speaker at this year’s Detroit Regional Chamber‘s Detroit Policy Conference on Feb. 28, the chamber has announced.

Bing will speak at the MotorCity Casino Hotel on “Detroit’s continued growth and transformation,” the chamber said in a press release.

Also lined up as keynote speakers are Rock Ventures President and COO Matt Cullen and senior editor of The Atlantic and best-selling author Richard Florida (The Rise of the Creative Class, Who’s Your City?, and “The Great Reset“). Panels are planned on topics such as designing Detroit’s brand, urban development and Detroit’s role in the IT world.

The conference is expected to draw government, business and community leaders. See to register or call Beverly Maddox at (313) 596-0343.

The Detroit Policy Conference brings together public and private sector leaders to encourage urban revitalization, according to the Detroit Regional Chamber. The conference will highlight key issues in Detroit and urban and suburban business opportunities.
