Brandy GoolsbyBrandy Denise Goolsby is currently a global commercial vehicle business and product strategy analyst at Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Mich. In her role, she leverages both her practical and formal knowledge in the area of engineering and business, as she guides product and business strategies to closure by leading cross-functional teams of employees from engineering, marketing, finance, purchasing and manufacturing.

Goolsby graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in electrical engineering. After graduation she began her career at General Motors. She held several positions while at GM which included: electrical design, vehicle safety and crashworthiness test operation support, and software and controls. While working at GM, she completed a Master of Business Administration program at the University of Detroit Mercy.

Goolsby holds professional memberships with InForum, a professional women’s alliance and the National Black MBA Association. Her future career aspiration is to be a spirited innovator and leader in the automotive industry to drive change that positively impacts the industry and Ford in the deployment of global transportation products. As well as assisting in the promotion and empowerment of men and women in science and business.
