Brown & Brown of Detroit Employees Support National Kidney Foundation

(Sterling Heights) . . . Todd Piersol, Executive Vice President, and Brian Pilarski, Sales Leader, are proud to announce that Brown & Brown of Detroit has chosen to support the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan as the office’s third quarter Blue Jean Day charity.

Every Friday, the office’s more than 60 employees have the option of wearing jeans to work, in exchange for a $5 donation to the non-profit of the quarter. Earlier this year, Brown & Brown of Detroit raised $1205 for YMCA of Greater Detroit and $1190 for The First Tee of Greater Detroit.

The National Kidney Foundation of Michigan’s mission is to prevent kidney disease and improve the quality of life for those living with it. 70% of kidney disease can be prevented by focusing on the root causes of obesity, diabetes, and hypertension. The NKFM offers a broad array of programs that focus on these problems to promote a healthier Michigan. In addition, the organization was recognized by HAP as one of the Healthiest Employers of Southeast Michigan for 2015. Visit www.nkfm.org for more information.
