Butzel co-hosts 2021 Michigan Defense Industry AUSA reception in Washington, D.C.

DETROIT, Mich. – Butzel law firm, in partnership with the Michigan Defense Center, an operation of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, and Macomb County, are co-hosting the 2021 Michigan Defense Industry – Arsenal of Innovation Annual Reception on Monday, October 11, 2021 at the Army and Navy Club in Washington, D.C.

This invitation only event brings together global leadership from private industry and high-level military officials. Representatives of the U.S. defense sector will have an opportunity to hear from this year’s special guest, Maj. Gen. Darren L. Werner, Tank-automotive and Armaments Command, Army Materiel Command.

Notably, the reception coincides with the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) largest event, which takes place from October 11-13, 2021 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington D.C. This year’s theme, “Transforming Land Power to Meet Global Challenges,” already has attracted more than 650 exhibitors.

AUSA supports soldiers, their families, and Army civilians and provides a voice for the Army and honors those who have served.
