Butzel Long attorney and shareholder Kevin C. O’Malley was a featured panelist during a live, state-wide broadcast of the “Michigan Business Rap,” radio show on August 16, 2017. Other panelists included Jim McDaniels, owner, The McDaniels Agency, Farm Bureau Insurance; and Tom Hamp, owner, AdviCoach Mid-Michigan.

O’Malley provided key insight targeted to small business owners about lawsuits. He also discussed the validity of verbal transactions; critical details small businesses must include in their contracts; employment laws; forming a relationship with an attorney, and proactive approaches to take before or after a law suit has commenced, to name a few.
