CCS Students Illustrate Cover of NAIAS Detroiter: It’s All About Design

The North American International Auto Show edition of the Detroiter hits newsstands soon and covers all things automotive design. The Chamber collaborated with the College for Creative Studies (CCS) as students Esther Licata and Mary McLain put their talents to work illustrating a cover that highlights Detroit’s influence on the look, feel and performance of today’s automobile.

With so much of design relying on talent from institutions like CCS, this collaboration was a great way to celebrate Detroit as a design city. The issue features CCS President Rick Rogers, automotive journalist Paul Eisenstein, and many of the innovators from Ford Motor Co. and General Motors Co. to Lear and Visteon that create world-class design, right here in metro Detroit.
