Central Michigan University students join Tanner Friedman team for summer internship

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., — Tanner Friedman Strategic Communications is hosting two seniors from Central Michigan University, Scott Stewart and Chelsea Komblevicz, for a summer internship. Both interns are pursuing bachelor’s degrees in Integrative Public Relations at CMU.

Stewart and Komblevicz are receiving hands-on experience working directly with the Tanner Friedman team. Both will be assisting in client communications, drafting press releases, constructing media pitches and facilitating communication across multiple platforms.

Stewart is the newly elected president of the Public Relations Student Society of America chapter at CMU. He is also the public relations co-chair of the Alternative Breaks program at the university, which coordinates week-long service learning breaks throughout the country.

Komblevicz’s previous experience includes being an Executive Assistant at PR Central, a student-operated public relations firm on CMU’s campus, and being a public relations specialist for Central Michigan Life, the student-operated newspaper.

Stewart and Komblevicz both grew up in the metro Detroit area. Stewart is a resident of Troy and Komblevicz is a resident of Woodhaven.
