Combs Joins Plunkett Cooney’s Appellate Law Practice Group

Combs, who is a member of the firm’s Bloomfield Hills office, focuses her appellate practice in the areas of commercial litigation, government law, employment litigation, first- and third-party motor vehicle negligence and medical malpractice. She also has experience resolving insurance coverage disputes.

A 2021 graduate of Wayne State University Law School, Combs served as a senior assistant editor for Wayne Law Review and was a member of the Business and Community Law Clinic who worked as a student attorney.

Combs received her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, and her Master of Business Administration from Bowling Green State University in 2016 and 2017, respectively. While there, Combs captained the school’s varsity softball team for two seasons, was honored as Academic All-MAC for softball in 2016 and 2017, and she inducted into the National College Athlete Honor Society.

Plunkett Cooney is one of only a few Midwest law firms with a dedicated team of appellate attorneys. The members of the Appellate Law Practice Group are responsible for over 1,500 cases decided by state and federal appellate courts, including all Michigan appellate courts, the Ohio Supreme Court, the Indiana appellate courts, the California Court of Appeals, and numerous federal circuit courts of appeal.
