Meet the Expert: NAMC – Schoolcraft College APEX Accelerator
September 19 @ 9:00 am – 10:00 am
The Schoolcraft College APEX Accelerator welcomes Veronica Baginski, Membership Manager for an overview of The National Advanced Mobility Consortium (NAMC).
The National Advanced Mobility Consortium (NAMC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, member-led consortium made up of an expert team and approximately 500 Member organizations. As one of the longest-serving Department of Defense (DoD) consortiums, NAMC acts as a bridge between the DoD and its Members to foster innovations that ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and victory for the US Military. NAMC is an Other Transaction Authority (OTA) which is a procurement authority of DoD to carry out prototypes, research, and production projects.
NAMC’s 500+ members span nationwide and include traditional/non-traditional defense contractors (both large and small), nonprofit organizations, and academic institutions. Small businesses and NDCs each respectively make up nearly 70% of NAMC’s total membership. These organizations provide unique insights and solutions for the Government based on previous experience in commercial applications.
Participating in NAMC allows organizations access to the projects that are competed on the DAI OTA through GVSC and supports teaming opportunities, collaboration events, and industry days.
Target Audience: NAMC is open to traditional/nontraditional, large/small, for-profit/non-profit companies, and academic institutions who have an active DD2345 with a presence in the United States who are focused on the development of ground mobility and related technologies.
