An event every week that begins at 11:00am on Wednesday and Friday, repeating until November 13, 2020

New sessions Streaming Every Wednesday and most Fridays at 11 a.m.

MPC20 Conversations, in partnership with Detroit Public Television, will feature nationally recognized and Michigan-based thought leaders. While an in-person Conference was not possible this year, there has never been a more important time to convene discussions on moving Michigan forward.

How to Participate

No advance registration is required for MPC20 Conversations and access to upcoming and/or past sessions is free. You can view the livestream every Wednesday, and most Friday’s at 11 a.m., from Aug. 19 through Nov. 13. on the MPC20 Conversations livestream page. Calendar reminders for upcoming sessions are available through the schedule.

Headliners throughout the 13-week series include Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, Mayor Mike Duggan, along with national speakers such as Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist Eugene Robinson, former presidential candidate Andrew Yang, best-selling author Margaret Hoover, and political pundit Harold Ford Jr. who will also provide perspective.

This digital series will focus on current events, including:

  • COVID-19: Michigan Responds, Recovers, & Rises
  • 2020 Election: Pandemic, Partisanship, & Predictions
  • Real Actions: Racial Justice & Achieving Equity
