Governor Rick Snyder to Open the 2013 Michigan Automotive Summit

This past week, the Detroit Regional Chamber’s MICHauto program announced Governor Rick Snyder as the opening keynote speaker at the 2013 Michigan Automotive Summit on Wednesday, September 25 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at COBO Center. The daylong event will highlight Michigan’s automotive capabilities and expertise, discuss industry growth opportunities, and touch on the necessity to capitalize on – and maintain – the state’s role as the epicenter of the global automotive industry

Gov. Snyder will take the stage to welcome attendees and provide opening remarks, affirming Michigan’s commitment to its foundation industry, commenting on Michigan’s role in the 21st century automotive industry, and highlighting his administration’s efforts to maintain and grow the industry here.
