InnoState Companies Win New Business in Public Transit Sector

The Detroit Chamber’s InnoState program led a delegation of 12 member organizations to market their services to OEM and tier one suppliers at the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) expo on Oct. 15 in Houston, Texas. The expo is the world’s largest trade show for large manufacturers of trains, buses and related products.
Representatives demonstrated their skills to nine buyers including Motor Coach Industries, Nova Bus and Proterra at the expo’s “Buy America” forum. InnoState was the largest group in attendance at the expo, and Michigan had more representation than any other state. The Michigan Economic Development Corporation’s Pure Michigan Business Connect program sponsored travel to the event.

InnoState serves a nine-county Detroit region by providing expertise in manufacturing supply base, company matchmaking, technology and talent connections to innovation-driven manufacturers. Click here for more information.
