Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Heirloom Hospitality

Heirloom Hospitality founder and chief executive officer Jeremy Sasson dove into the restaurant business with TOWNHOUSE Birmingham and Detroit, then reimagined the modern steakhouse with PRIME + PROPER Detroit, an immersive eatery with an in-house executive butcher and dry-aging program. Sasson’s passion for profound hospitality led him to open his first nightlife concept, CASH ONLY. In 2016, Crain’s Detroit Business named Sasson among its class of 2016, “40 Under 40.”

He earned his BBA in finance and entrepreneurship in 2007 from the University of Miami, and after graduation, moved to the New York City area as co-owner of a solar energy brokerage company. There, he gained invaluable business experience and explored the city’s world-class restaurant scene.

Sasson resides down the street from TOWNHOUSE Birmingham, with Heirloom Hospitality’s offices right across the street. Along with his wife, 3-year-old daughter, 1-year-old son, and their 16-year-old Rottweiler, the restaurateur enjoys traveling as much as he can, often to South Florida, where he unwinds by boating, reading, spending time with family, and enjoying his ever-growing collection of wines and whiskeys.
