Jerry Norcia

 width=Jerry Norcia is the president and chief executive officer of DTE Energy. He also is chairman of the company’s board of directors.

Before being named CEO in 2019, Norcia served as president and chief operating officer of DTE, responsible for strategic oversight and operations of the electric and gas utilities and the two large non-utility businesses. He has also served as president of DTE Gas and DTE Electric.

Norcia co-chairs the United Way Campaign Cabinet and is a member of the board of trustees of The Skillman Foundation, dedicated to the well-being and prosperity of children in Detroit. Norcia also serves on the boards of Business Leaders for Michigan, the Detroit Regional Partnership, and the Downtown Detroit Partnership. Further, he is a board member of the American Gas Association, Edison Electric Institute, Nuclear Energy Institute, and the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations.

Norcia holds a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Windsor.
