John James
Vice President, Operations, James Group International
John James is the vice president of operations at James Group International and president of Renaissance Global Logistics, where he leads a Tier 1 logistics services company providing export, import, warehousing, sequencing and various logistics services to automotive customers and affiliates around the world.
Formerly, James served as an aviation officer in the U.S. Army, commissioned at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. From 2006 to 2009, James trained and led his platoons in preparation for and in the execution of combat operations in and around Baghdad, Iraq. He was also the Battle Captain and Assistant Operations Officer, and later served as the executive officer and operations officer at the Entrance Processing Station in Lansing, Michigan.
While commissioned at the U.S. Military Academy, James earned a bachelor’s degree in law and systems engineering.
