Leading Change-makers to Build on the National #MeToo Movement at 2018 Mackinac Policy Conference

On Thursday, May 31 during the 2018 Mackinac Policy Conference, the Women’s Wave: Breaking the Silence panel will explore how businesses across all industries can engage in practices that create a culture of inclusion and equality in the workplace.

This discussion ties to the Conference pillar of restoring trust in critical institutions. Businesses can build internal and external trust by fostering diversity of thought and encouraging all employees to have a voice without fear of repercussion. This panel will build on the national #MeToo movement and discussion around political, social and economic equality. The panel will also explore how businesses in Michigan can create a culture of accountability that allows women to strive for leadership opportunities.
