Luce_Rob2Rob Luce is director of MICHauto and automotive retention and growth at the Detroit Regional Chamber. As a member of the economic development team, Luce leads day-to-day operations of MICHauto, an initiative to promote, retain and grow the automotive industry in Michigan. Luce is responsible for working with key stakeholders to set strategy and determine priorities, marketing Michigan’s automotive assets to the national and international community and engaging the public and private sector on automotive matters related to advocacy, economic development and talent attraction.

Prior to joining the Chamber, Luce was a legislative aide in the Michigan Senate and served as fundraising director for a Michigan Senate campaign. He has also worked in government relations. He also served as an executive mortgage banker at Quicken Loans. Luce earned a master’s degree from Eastern Michigan University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Adrian College, as well as certificates in public budget management and local government management from Eastern Michigan University.
