Statement from Detroit Regional Chamber CEO on Announcement that George Jackson is Resigning from DEGC

DETROIT, January 30, 2014: Today, Detroit Regional Chamber President and CEO Sandy K. Baruah issued the following statement on the announcement that Detroit Economic Growth Corporation President and CEO George Jackson is resigning:

“Throughout numerous mayoral administrations and the multiple challenges that have confronted the city of Detroit, the one aspect that has consistently worked is the economic development work of the Detroit Economic Growth Corporation. George Jackson’s leadership has been instrumental in this success, and additionally has built a strong DEGC team. His leadership and experience will be missed.”
