Have a video chat happy hour.

If you haven’t already, schedule a group video chat or phone call with your friends and family. Prepare your favorite drink to turn it into a virtual happy hour. Checking in on friends and family is important during this critical time, and keeping things lighthearted will help keep spirits up.

Play games virtually.

Whether it’s Words with Friends or completing jigsaw puzzles online, there are many online games to explore and play with friends and family remotely. Try QuizUp to put your knowledge to the test, or the online version of Scrabble.

Share your favorite family memories on social media.

Since traveling is off the table right now, take a look back on old photos and share #throwback pictures on your Facebook and Instagram pages. Remind your friends and family of the good times you had together and remember, by practicing social distancing, you’re helping create a better future for more good times to come.

Send letters and gifts in the mail.

For some friends or family members, this could be an extremely difficult time for them. If you are able to, consider sending care or gift packages and letters in the mail to those who may need something to lift their spirits. Simple acts of kindness can truly make a difference.
