Steve Vozar

Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer, May Mobility

Steve Vozar is co-founder and chief technology officer for May Mobility. Prior to co-founding the company, Vozar was a research fellow with the APRIL laboratory at the University of Michigan, contributing to projects including Ford Motor Co.’s next-generation vehicle thrust and the DARPA Squad X core technologies program.

Vozar previously worked at Johns Hopkins University, developing telerobotic satellite servicing technology in collaboration with NASA. He was named a “Human-Robot Interaction Pioneer” in 2012 for his doctoral work on telerobotic mobile manipulation. Vozar also co-founded and acted as vice president of technology for Absolute Nano, a university spinoff developing instruments for nanomaterials research.
