New Project Manager Joins Innovative Learning Group

Innovative Learning Group, Inc. today announced that Wendy Robins has joined the company in the role of project manager and performance consultant.

“Given 16 new clients in 2013, ILG is poised to see significant growth in the coming year,” says CEO Lisa Toenniges. “In addition to Wendy, we’ve also welcomed a new media developer and continue to look for individuals, both full time and contract, who would be a good fit for us.”

Robins has more than 30 years of experience providing training and performance support solutions to a diverse client base. Prior to joining ILG, Robins was a performance consultant at Alteris Group in Southfield, Mich. In this role, she designed and developed learning and performance support solutions for automotive companies and suppliers, construction/agricultural equipment manufacturers, and health care organizations.

Robins has a master’s degree in performance improvement and instructional design from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and a bachelor’s degree in music history from the University of Michigan.

ILG Project Manager Laura Vavrek Elected to Two-Year Board Position with Greater Detroit ASTD Chapter

ROYAL OAK, Mich., Jan. 16, 2014 — Innovative Learning Group, Inc. Project Manager Laura Vavrek has been elected to and has begun a two-year term as vice president of membership for the Greater Detroit Chapter of the American Society for Training & Development (GDASTD). In her role, Vavrek will be responsible for member recruitment, orientation, satisfaction, and training.

“ILG has been a corporate sponsor of GDASTD and has presented at its monthly events a number of times,” says Vavrek. “I’m looking forward to bringing new awareness of the chapter to training professionals throughout Southeast Michigan.”

Innovative Learning Group Wins Silver Brandon Hall Learning Award

ROYAL OAK, Mich., Nov. 5, 2013 — Innovative Learning Group, Inc., a creator of custom learning solutions, and its client, Haworth, Inc., won a coveted Brandon Hall Silver Award for Excellence in the Best Use of Blended Learning category.

ILG developed a blended learning solution for the Haworth Management System. The solution addressed the need to reinvigorate Lean enterprise transformation at Haworth and introduce it to all areas of the company. Innovative Learning Group CEO Delivering Keynote at The 3rd China Performance Improvement Forum

ROYAL OAK, Mich., Oct. 22, 2013 — Innovative Learning Group, Inc. CEO Lisa Toenniges will be delivering the keynote address at The 3rd China Performance Improvement Forum being held in Beijing, Oct. 23 ‒ Oct. 25. The event is being hosted by the China Chapter of the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI). Toenniges is the current president of ISPI.

“I’m extremely excited to have the opportunity to travel to China and not only represent ISPI but also share a few client examples of how ILG has used technology to improve performance,” says Toenniges.

The forum’s theme — New Technology • New Change — emphasizes the impact of new technology on individual performance and how organizations should adapt. In her keynote, Learning Technologies: New Paradigms for Learning and Performance Support, Toenniges will describe ways to approach learning and performance support using new technologies, identify technology-based solutions to fulfill performance needs using standard performance improvement models, and explain how technology impacts learning and performance roles.

The 3rd China Performance Improvement Forum is expected to attract more than 300 people involved in the performance improvement industry.
