Hear from Two Top Political Insiders at the 2017 Mackinac Policy Conference

Registration is now open for the 2017 Mackinac Policy Conference. Held at the historic Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island from Tuesday, May 30 to Friday, June 2, the event will bring nationally recognized speakers and thought leaders to the island.

This year’s Conference will drive statewide dialogue centered around the key pillars of: restoring civility in American politics, winning the race in connected technology and increasing economic opportunity to move Michigan forward.

The Conference pillar, restoring civility in American politics, encourages business and civic leaders to shape public discourse to restore the art of compromise for progress in today’s polarized political environment. Building on this pillar, Stephanie Cutter, CNN political commentator and former senior advisor to President Obama, and Nicolle Wallace, best-selling author and former director of communications for the White House, will take Michigan’s Center Stage on Wednesday, May 31 to engage in a moderated point/counterpoint discussion on the current political outlook in the United States.

As a chief strategist and one of the most prominent voices in the Democratic party, Cutter will join Wallace, a hard-charging conservative political operator, to provide perspectives from the left and right on today’s political landscape. These top female political insiders will dive into hot button political issues that are currently impacting the business community.
