Walsh Foundation Appoints Vicki Kamenova to Board of Directors

TROY, Mich., Aug. 5, 2020 —The Walsh Foundation announces the appointment of Vicki E. Kamenova, Partner/Principal in Ernst & Young’s cybersecurity practice, to its Board of Directors. Kamenova is a double Walsh alumna, earning her bachelor of business administration in computer information systems in 2004 and a master of science in information assurance in 2010.

Born and raised in Bulgaria, Kamenova immigrated to the United States in 1999 and is considered a leader in her field. She is a strong advocate for engaging women in the information technology field and encouraging them to explore and pursue STEM career opportunities. She also volunteers with the Walsh’s mentor program and was recently named a Distinguished Graduate of the Last Decade.

Walsh Foundation Appoints Two New Board Members

TROY, Mich., Sept. 10, 2019 —The Walsh Foundation announces the appointment of two new members to its Board of Directors. The newly appointed Board members are business leaders and Walsh alumni Todd Hohauser, Chief Executive Officer of Harvey Hohauser & Associates and Chairman of IIC Partners and Daryl Kaiser, Chief Financial Officer for American Roads and the Detroit Windsor Tunnel.

“We are pleased to welcome these two individuals to the Walsh Foundation Board of Directors,” said Susan Foley, Vice President, and Chief Advancement Officer of Walsh. “In addition to being leaders in their industries, as active, engaged alumni, they demonstrate a strong commitment to Walsh’s continued success transforming lives through education.”

Hohauser received his Master of Science in Management from Walsh in 2003. In 2009 he was named Outstanding Graduate of the Last Decade. In addition to the Walsh Foundation Board, Hohauser has served as Board Member and Chair with The Epilepsy Foundation, CORP! & MichBiz Board of Advisors and is a mentor for Endeavor Detroit.

Kaiser earned his Bachelor of Accountancy from Walsh in 1991. He has remained highly engaged with Walsh since that time, previously serving as activities chairman of the Walsh Alumni Association. He currently is an adjunct faculty member and a member of the Walsh Accountancy Advisory Board.
