Walsh College offers two-part CMA exam prep course

Walsh College is offering the first of a two-part preparation course for the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) exam. Part one will run Wednesdays, Sept. 22 – Nov. 10 from 6-9 p.m. Walsh faculty members William Greshak, JD, CMA, CFA, CFE and Joseph Lipiec, CPA, will teach the course, which will be delivered in a
remote synchronous format via Zoom and is open to anyone seeking CMA certification. Topics will include financial planning, performance and analytics and students will receive the GLEIM Review System for CMA, including access to GLEIM online. The cost for part one is $1,620, with an early bird discount available through Sept. 1, 2021. Part two of the course begins in Jan. 2022 and will focus on strategic financial management.

CMA is the globally recognized, advance-level credential for accountants and financial professionals in business, signifying mastery of principles and practices for corporate accountants and corporate financial professionals. Achieving CMA certification demonstrates professional expertise in financial planning, analysis, control, decision support and professional ethics. Walsh’s 2020 CMA pass rate was 83% compared to a national average of 45%.
